Position description:
Competent staff member that assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and directs care for individual/group of patients, with a family centered care focus. Anticipates the needs of all healthcare team members in the perioperative arena, and assist in continuing education and orientation of all staff members. This will include support within cardiac service.
Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited (or pending accreditation) school of nursing and currently licenses as a registered nurse in the state of Ohio . Current Health Care Provider BLS training is required. PALS and ACLS are required within two years of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) is the organization designated for BLS, ACLS, and PALS. For cardiac service at least one year of pediatric operating room experience and PALS required. One year of pediatric cardiac open heart/cath lab preferred. Self motivated, flexible and a team spirited approach is essential.
This position is for Cardiac Service.
