In this position you will be responsible for managing a team of Hospice Nurses. You will be offered a competitive salary between $38-$42 / hour based on experience along-side a full benefits package with additional benefits listed below. 

Job Duties of the Registered Nurse / RN / Hospice Care:
  • Patient assessments, implement nursing care and identify and treat problems
  • Act as a patient advocate
  • Understands and able to interpret diagnostic measures
  • Identify patient goals,  and provide instructions/training/education to patients
  • Reports and documents information accurately
  • Infection control
  • Positive and caring attitude toward patients, peers, staff and families. 
  • Functions as part of the center's team concept

As the Registered Nurse / RN / Hospice Care you will use your competencies in the application of safety positioning devices, providing ongoing observation, intervention and documentation. 

Skills Required of the Hospice Registered Nurse: 
  • Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Current North Carolina  RN license
  • 2 years’  minimum current  in Operating Room Experience 
  • BLS , ACLS, 
  • 2 years'  Management Experience

Additional Skills Required from Hospice RN:
  • Accountable for completing physical and psychosocial assessment on patients
  • Develop and implement a nursing plan of care and make recommendations
  • Supervise and evaluate home health aides and personal care workers in patients' nursing homes or skilled nursing facilities
  • Request written orders from physicians for changes in the patient plan of care
