Description

The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist performs duties necessary for Adult & Geriatric Cardiac Catheterization procedures and electrophysiology procedures at a technical and professional level requiring minimal supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require responsible independent judgement. Assumes responsibility and initiative for designated areas and procedures as required. 
Qualifications

Must be available to rotate weekday and weekend call responsibilities.

 

Must meet one of the following:

  • Be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program or
  • Cardiovascular Technologist program or
  • RN degree with at least one year of previous experience or
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist program or
  • Have 2 years of CV Invasive Training experience

 

Must also have current ACLS or PALS and CPR/BLS certification
