We are looking for an experienced Director of Case Management. Must have Three years in a hospital setting as a UR Nurse, Case Manager and/or Director. Must have Technical Training: Computer knowledge/experience using decision-making and statistical analysis software. Must possess an Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited School and Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Masters preferred, NC RN licensed.

Plans, organizes and directs the provision of the Case Management Services. Establishes policies, procedures, standards and department objectives. Supervises departmental personnel and manages all functions related to Utilization Review, Discharge Planning, Social Work and Case Management processes.

Work requires knowledge of nursing theory and principles, fundamentals of medicine and medical law, as well as anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, coding and statistics.

Skills must include the ability to analyze statistical data, prepare reports, develop policy and procedures and provide overall direction to personnel and medical staff to ensure the appropriate admissions and discharges are achieved.

Interpersonal skills are required to act as a liaison among all members of the health care team.
