We are seeking an experienced Director of Maternal Child Services (L&D and Mother/Baby) for a midsize hospital. Must have Current California RN license, Current BLS-HCP, NRP. Requires BSN or higher, National certification in the area of specialty, previous management experience. Requires Minimum 5 years Director experience in Maternal Child Services.

Reports to CNO. Department has 50 FTEs. Labor and Delivery has 17 beds (this includes 2 OR suites for C-sections), Mother-Baby has 13 beds, and couplet care with newborn in the room with mother. The department has about 100 deliveries per month.

Requires strong analytical and grammatical skills to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential. Must be fluent in spoken and written English. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
