Responsibilities:
Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of all Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documents including PRI’s in order to assure appropriate reimbursement for services provided in nursing home affiliated with a premier hospital system. Conducts concurrent MDS review to assure achievement of maximum allowable RUGs category. Oversees the overall process and tracking of MDS/PPS/PRI documentation and transmission. Ensure timely, accurate and complete assessment of the resident’s health and functional status during the entire assessment period. Integrate nursing, dietary, social, recreation, restorative, rehabilitation, and physician services to ensure appropriate reimbursement.

Requirements:
NY State licensed RN with at least two years of long term care clinical nursing experience.
Experience with MDS completion, reimbursement, clinical resource utilization and/or case management.
